Integrity in top 55 of Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200

By News

Integrity Print ranked at number 55 in the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table of private companies with the fastest-growing overseas sales, published on 16th February.

2020 marks the second successive year that Integrity has made the list, which recognises and celebrates Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing international sales over their latest two financial years. It is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each February.

Integrity Print’s Managing Director, Mark Cornford commented, “Since 2008, a key strategy for us has been to diversify and expand into different sectors and regions, both nationally and internationally. Without this robust expansion plan, we simply wouldn’t be where we are today. Whereas print may be in somewhat of a decline in certain UK markets, in other parts of the world, it’s thriving. Our successful expansion into developing markets such as Ghana & Botswana is testament to this.”

Integrity continues to trade extensively with the EU market but is now seeing strong growth in the African and Asian markets, particularly with specialist security print products.

Nipson Digiflex Investment

By News

It’s here! Our Secure Mailings Division’s latest investment, the new Nipson Digiflex Duplex Digital Printer Line is up and running.

As the only readily available ‘flash fusion’ printing system on the market, the Nipson Digiflex sets new standards in terms of quality, flexibility and cost-effective productivity. The new system is replacing a Xerox 495 line and will deliver a 30% increase in capacity.

The investment is a key part of the strategy for delivering the planned growth of the Mailing division. The Nipson can personalise a wide range of substrates, including the work produced on our integrated finishing lines. Integrity will be able to offer a service to clients in the retail and charity sectors who need to personalise loyalty cards, labels and fund-raising packs.

The Nipson also has the facility to run MICR toner, ensuring that we can continue to process high volume cheque mailings for clients.

Gerald White, MD at Nipson Technologies visited Integrity Print last week and remarked on our partnership.

“I’m very excited to be working with Integrity Print. We already have a great relationship with their sister company A1 Security Print, so I’m looking forward to developing this new partnership together”

The installation of the Nipson line is the first step in an extensive investment programme at Integrity. The next two months will see the introduction of high-volume ink jet production, additional enclosing capacity and a major factory extension for the mailing division.

Canon i300 investment

By News

Integrity Print are delighted to announce that after an extensive review of the market place we have chosen to partner with Canon as we enter the high volume inkjet market.

We will be taking delivery of a Canon Varioprint i300 high speed cut sheet inkjet press with the latest high quality MX inks on 10th February, backed up by a full suite of PRISMA workflow and colour management software.

We are busy preparing our print room to accommodate the new press but wanted to share a video showing its incredible capabilities.

The investment forms a key part of our strategy to grow our secure mailing division to £10m annual sales and the i300 will play a key part in extending our capacity to meet same day turn rounds on our contractual business and the rapid growth of our Clarity Mail service.

Integrity Print enters Specimen Bag market

By News

Integrity Print Ltd, the £60m turnover print group, that includes A1 Security Print, has moved into the manufacture of medical specimen bags. The specialised nature of the products has involved acquiring two finishing lines from the assets of the recently closed Tressanda print business. Tony Pelgrave, formerly Sales Manager at Tressanda, has joined Integrity to help develop and grow sales of the product, along with two key members of the production team.
Specimen bags are widely used in the NHS to securely transfer fluid samples between departments and laboratories and feature a leak proof adhesive seal. The Specimen bags can be combined with a pre-printed paper form to create multi- part carriers with integrated labels. Integrity also have the facility to add variable barcodes and unique numbering to the product to ensure accurate distribution and reconciliation of samples.
The specimen bag department will be run as part of the Security Print Division headed up by Jim Richardson of A1 Security Print limited.
Commenting on the decision to produce the Specimen Bags, Sales and Marketing Director Andrew Law said “We are providing increasing amounts of print to NHS Trusts and Tressanda’s customer base was closely aligned with many of our existing trade clients. This gives our clients the opportunity to source a wide range of products more effectively through a single supplier. Our business strategy is to diversify our print offering, enabling us to add more value to our clients, and the ability to produce specimen bags meets this objective.”

Labels Growth

By News

The Integrity Labels division are delighted to announce that they have placed an order for a new ABG labels press complete with Digicon in-line finishing. The £650,000 investment will deliver a significant boost to the division’s capability and capacity to service the distribution and logistics sector that are a core part of Integrity’s labels business.
The equipment has been specified with three colour printing and turret re-wind finishing and is due to be commissioned by mid October 2019, in time for the peak demand period for the sector. Running at 150 meters per minute the new line will allow Integrity to meet a continued growth in demand for long run labels that has seen the division increase sales by 25% during 2019, as turnover grows to £8 million per annum.
Martin Clissold, General Manager of the Labels Division, commented – “The ABG line is a best in class piece of kit for our target market. Our existing ABG line is running at full capacity only a year after installation and we continue to attract new business in the retail distribution and fulfilment sector with our track record of consistent delivery and reliable product quality”

2019 Investment

2019 Investment

Quarter One investments at Westfield site

Two key investments have been made at the Westfield site. In February we installed a Hunkeler offline roll-fed CS6-2 cutting system with offset stacked cut-sheet output, an MBO T535 Efficiency buckle folder, MBO A500 mobile stacking delivery and a Herzog + Heymann transfer unit type 850.3.
Initially we started looking purely for a deep pile sheeter but, after reviewing our requirements, Friedheim International came up with a proposal to build the fully integrated sheeter, folder and stacker line for us, which can operate at speeds up to 150/min.
The investment will enable us to reduce the number of processes involved in converting pre-printed reels to sheeted, folded and finished products.
We are anticipating new sales of £1m per annum as a direct result of the investment as we will now be able to compete more effectively in the market for press inserts and high volume leaflets.

We have has also invested in an additional Bluecrest Mailstream Evolution nine-station continuous-feed inserting line in our Transactional division.
The machine is equipped with File Based enclosing software and cameras in line with our policy of delivering robust 100% mail pack integrity and will be fully commissioned and into live production by the second week of April.
The latest round of investment is part of Integrity’s proposed spend of more than £1m for 2019.
